Spectacular Autumn Sunset in Yellowstone - stunning colors of the sun during dusk!
My wife & I were driving back after a long day of hiking and spotting wild animals in Yosemite to watch sunset from a well-known gathering point. We were still 5 miles out and it was getting late - we were concerned that we might miss the sunset after all. But as I turned a corner, we could see the large orange sun behind the trees slowly beginning to set. I quickly parked the car on the side of the road, got out and we were able to enjoy this magnificent sunset.
It just went to show that nature has a special way of sharing its beauty with us and we just have to be ready for it even if that means our well laid plans can sometimes go astray.
